The Story Behind The Factory
Troy Baker has always believed that the best stories are the ones that make people stop and pay attention.
Originally from Kitchener, Ontario, Troy grew up surrounded by creativity in all its forms — architecture, art, literature, and music. That multidisciplinary foundation shaped the way he sees the world and, eventually, the way he works. He went on to build a career at the intersection of communications and visual storytelling, and today teaches Social Media and Digital Content at Algonquin College in Ottawa.
The Imagination Factory grew out of a simple conviction: that small and medium businesses deserve the same communications power as the big ones. Troy started with a camera and a belief that thoughtful, intentional creative work has the power to connect, communicate, and inspire — regardless of the size of the organization behind it.
That belief drives everything at Imagination Factory. Whether it’s capturing a defining moment at a live event, producing a promotional video that actually reflects who a business is, designing graphics that stop the scroll, or building a communications strategy from the ground up, the goal is always the same: to tell your story in a way that gets you noticed.
“Bringing architecture, art, literature and music together can create beautiful and passionate stories. I want to help tell those stories.”
